thank you and I agree. I’ve worked hard to be where I am and I’m not gonna sit here and take shit from some person hiding behind a computer.

So it kinda annoys me that I have an anonymous person telling me I don’t know what the real world is like

I guarantee you that I have more “real world” experience than whoever you are.

So lets just go over all that I’ve done/achieved in my life thus far.

I have been working since I was 15, I got my first job at the West Hernando Public Library back in my hometown. I saved up my money and bought my car. Yes I did buy my mustang with my own hard earned money, because I wanted a car and I don’t come from a wealthy upbringing.

I left the library and got a job as a server at The Residence at Timber Pines, which is an assisted living facility.

I graduated high school, top 10% of my class with high honors. While I was in high school, I was secretary of my graduating class. I was also a member of the beta club, key club, drama club, and student council. I was in a total of 9 school musicals. I was on the varsity tennis team all four years and captain my senior year, as well as on homecoming court. Let’s not forget that I was working throughout this.

I now attend Florida State University. I work on campus as a University Ambassador. I’m majoring in Hospitality Management with a double minor in Geography and Religion. I am a full time student and scheduled to graduate a little early. Yes I am in a fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon. But from the way you’re talking to me you probably didn’t attend college. My guess is that you graduated high school and went straight to the workforce, which is absolutely fine. But unless you’re in college you have no idea how hard it is to find a balance between being a full time student, working, extracurriculars, and having a social life. College can be extremely stressful at times, pulling all nighters and studying days for exams. Especially if you plan on applying to graduate schools and have begun studying for your exams, like I have with the GMAT. I’m also in the process of applying for an internship in Scotland for next summer.

So don’t tell me I don’t know what the real world is like. I know exactly what it’s like. Just because you have no social life doesn’t mean you can ridicule someone OVER THE INTERNET for having one while balancing a very busy schedule. For instance, tomorrow I work 7:45am-5:00pm.

I might not work 8 hours a day 6 days a week but my schedule is busy and I still have bills to pay just like you do. So before you talk shit to someone, actually get to know the person and not jump to conclusions based on things I post or blog.

THANK YOU AND GOOD DAY!

Anonymous asked: :( campus life and frat houses are so not the real world.

Oh so taking classes for my degree, working, campus involvement to boost my resume, and studying for graduate level exams isn’t considered the real world? You’re right I have it so easy.

Anonymous asked: - because you're incredibly naïve going by your blog. You seem to think the whole world is one big Disneyland /schmaltzy movie :\ It's not your fault - you're a product of your society's shallow values. You just really need to experience some of the real world. Soon.

HA! I’m living in “the real world” I’ve been experiencing it for the last two years now. I in no way believe that the world is one big disney movie, though I do happen to love disney movies.
